Aveda Recalls Lash Abundance Boosting Serum

Firm points to preservative system in voluntary pullback.

The Aveda Corporation has announced a voluntary consumer recall of its Lash Abundance Boosting Serum after the company determined that the preservative system in the formula may not be sufficient to protect against certain microorganisms. The product launched to consumers on or about Feb. 12, 2012 in the US, Canada and Australia and on March 1 in limited European markets; preview samples were distributed prior to that time.
